Videography Terms & Conditions
1. Quote Validity
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
Acceptance of the quote confirms agreement to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Pricing & GST
All prices include GST unless otherwise stated.
3. Booking & Deposit
A 20% deposit is required to secure the booking.
For projects where the filming date may be subject to change, the deposit secures the project within the agreed timeframe rather than
a single fixed date.
Filming dates may be adjusted by mutual agreement, subject to availability. The remaining balance is payable upon final video delivery.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling
If the project is cancelled after the deposit has been paid, the deposit is non-refundable.
If the project is postponed, the deposit will be transferred to the rescheduled date or timeframe, subject to availability.
If the project is cancelled after filming has commenced, the full quoted
amount may be payable.
5. Scope of Work
Services provided will be outlined in the accepted quote.
Any additional filming, editing, revisions, or deliverables outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges.
6. Creative Control
The Videographer retains creative control over filming style, editing, pacing, and music selection unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Revisions
Quotes include two rounds of revisions. Additional revision rounds will be charged at $75 per round.
8. Delivery
Final video(s) will be delivered digitally within
a timeframe dependent on project complexity, workload,
and client feedback.
Delivery timeframes are estimates
only and may be extended due to delays in feedback,
additional revision requests, or changes to scope.
9. Client Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for:
• Providing access to locations,
personnel, and relevant subjects
• Ensuring filming can proceed safely and legally
• Obtaining any necessary permissions or approvals
The Videographer is not responsible for missed footage due
to delays, access restrictions, or circumstances outside
their control.
10. Limitation of Liability
All reasonable care will be taken; however, the Videographer is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond their control. Liability is limited to the total amount paid for the services.
11. Copyright & Usage
The Videographer retains copyright of all footage. Upon full payment, the Client is granted a licence to use the final delivered video(s) for their intended business purposes.
The Videographer retains the right to use footage for portfolio, website, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
12. Footage Retention & Backup Responsibility
The Videographer does not guarantee long-term storage or archiving of raw footage or final project files after delivery. Clients are responsible for downloading, backing up, and securely storing all delivered files upon receipt.
The Videographer accepts no liability for loss, damage, or inability to access footage after delivery has been completed.
